The Uterus Question uses large reading text, simple controls and layouts that adapt to smaller screens. Navigation and article structure remain available without a mouse.
Reading size and structure
Article and policy text starts at 22 pixels. The Larger text button increases the primary reading text to 26 pixels. Headings identify the sections, the skip link moves to the main content, and article contents link to the corresponding headings. Browser zoom remains available.
Keyboard controls
Topic choices and reading-type filters use native radio buttons. Search has an explicit label. Source records and article contents use standard disclosure controls. Interactive elements have visible focus indicators, and essential information is written as text rather than conveyed only by color or decoration.
Verification and practical limits
Before release we check narrow layouts, enlarged text, keyboard behavior and automated accessibility findings. Those checks help identify problems but cannot establish compatibility with every device or assistive technology. The site respects reduced-motion preferences and avoids timed tasks, dragging and automatic animations.
